Leaving from the center of Follonica we
head towards the tracing of the old Aurelia, in direction Livorno,
distances approximately 3 Km, to the term of a wide curve towards right,
we turn to sx in direction Torre Mozza;
passed the railway-bridge we
turn to right and covered
approximately 400 meters we find on left
a large equipped parking. Parked means, we head on foot towards the beach,
that we will catch up journeying on a footbridge in wood that surpasses
the marsh (inhabited in winter from garzette, gallinelle of water, and
from a colony of water turtles that in summer move themselves along the
adjacent channels. Crossed the footbridge we penetrate ourselves in the
pinewood and covered
approximately 100 meters we arrive on the beach, heading towards N we find
a wide clear sand beach that arrives until casello the hydraulic engineer
of Carbonifera. The sea of this beach is characterized to approximately 30
meters from the river from a reef (that it seems is the tracing of the old
consular road Aurelia) where the sea always low, limpid and is inhabited
from orate colonies of, saraghi, salpe and cozze, enough one mask in order
to discover a new and incontaminato world. |
Leaving from the center of Follonica we head towards the tracing of the old Aurelia, in direction Livorno, distances approximately 3 Km, to the term of a wide curve towards right, we turn to left in direction Torre Mozza; passed the railway-bridge we find ourselves of forehead to a construction in origin masonry saracena, on the sx and on the dx they are locates two incustoditi parkings to you; it passes to you which we find ourselves on the beach. Leaving from the center of Follonica we head on the Lungomare Italia in direction Prato Ranieri, surpassed the Village "Golfo del Sole" and still continuing for approximately 400 meters we find on left a narrow crosslane with a slab that blocks the passage to the motor vehicles, we cross the slab and us along a little street that a pit (the water is cleanest) of the marsh, the pit is in use to the Club Naval Alloy of Follonica. Leaving from the center of Follonica us leave on the Road of the Collacchie, Castiglione direction of the Pescaia, the road left to the shoulders the last houses of Follonica crosses one secular pinewood; facts approximately 300 meters we advance ourselves, on the right, in a narrow lane that enters within the pinewood; covered 200 meters we arrive to runs aground them, much wide one. The sea is low and in the hours of low tide form isle of sand where the children love to play. we continue in direction Castiglione and distances approximately 10
Km we arrive to the crossroad, on the right,
for Punta Ala we take it and covered
approximately 2 Km we arrive to a wide curve on the left,
to the term of which we find a small gate in wood with the indication
Casetta Civinini, we enter in the pinewood
and little after we find a parking. A small bar with benches to the shadow
of the pines and distances little meters we are on the beach, wide and
long beyond 6 Km. To our right on the hill the villa that watches Cala Civette,
to our left, in distance the Hidalgo Tower and little more up the Castle
